La Veta Pines RV park has been a favorite spot for RV vacationers in the Southern Rockies for decades. The RV park is located in La Veta Colorado within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and art galleries. We are pet friendly, and offer daily, weekly and monthly RV rates. Nestled between the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Christo Mountains, we’re just 22 miles west of Interstate 25.

La Veta, our shops restaurants and galleries are just a short walk from the RV park.
Cuchara, a charming mountain village in the heart of the Cucharas River Valley, is just up the road.
Fishing – Choose from 6 different fishing lakes that are all a short drive away.
Hiking - Short walks and nature trails to difficult forest hikes and everything in between can be found nearby
Great Sand Dunes National park, home to the highest sand dunes in North America
Highway of Legends circles the Spanish Peaks region and you can join this scenic drive right in front of the RV park.
Uptop Historic District at the top of old La Veta pass started as a Railroad stop in 1877 and several building still remain
Francisco Fort Museum includes the fort, a saloon, blacksmith shop, school house, and mining museum.
Combres Toltec Scenic Railroad can be boarded in Antonito, Co
Bishop Castle is a monumental structure in stone and iron built by one man over 60 years, and he is still building

Deposit of first night fee required for nightly and weekly reservations.
2 night minimum stay required on Holiday and Special Event weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Celtic Fest, Oktoberfest)
Sites are for RVs only NO TENTS, CAR CAMPING, OR ROOFTOP TENTS.
Cancelation Policy
Check-in Time 2PM / Checkout time 12noon
RV sites are assigned upon arrival. Specific site requests are considered but not guaranteed
Rates include 4 persons and one passenger vehicle and one RV per space. Rates for additional people over 18 yrs are $5.00 per day.
All RV sites and park facilities are for registered guests only. All other visitors must be approved by the office.
Quiet Time is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, please be considerate of others
Loud vehicles must be parked on the street or moved to the street before starting the engine. Please avoid extended idling of all vehicles while on Park property.
All RVs must use a sewer elbow to connect the sewer hose to the Park’s sewer connection. Elbows are available for sale in the office.
All Pets entering the Park must have current rabies vaccines. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. you agree to clean up after your pet in the park AND around town. Pets may not be left unattended. Aggressive dogs and excessive barking will not be tolerated. Maximum 2 pets per site.
Mats and rugs are not allowed on the grass.
No Wood fires are allowed. Propane and charcoal fires MAY be allowed in approved containers. Please check with the office for fire restrictions.
No Washing dishes in the Restrooms
We are in bear country! Never leave food, pet food, or garbage out during the day or at night. Do not feed or approach the deer.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the park except inside your RV or vehicle
Failure to comply with the above stated rules will be grounds for removal from the park without refund
